WARNING! ALL Psychics (E.g., Chip Coffey, James Van Praagh) are frauds!

Welcome Mr. Gullible! You are about to be warned by scifake. If Psychics were real, they would win the lottery and give some of their winnings to the needy. If Psychics existed, he would know that the plan that he is about to catch has been delayed and arrive to the airport at the appropriate time. All sex offenders would be captured!

Keep your money and do not rely on charlatans like Chip Coffey, Michelle Griffin, Sandra Sparks, John Edward and James Van Praagh. They are like hungry vultures perched in a tree waiting to swoop in when your most vulnerable.

I wish it was that easy, i wish i saw lottery numbers instead of 2 year olds being raped. I wish i saw everything not just the horrible , nasty things that kept me from sleeping for years. If psychics (mind you that is the label we were given what we call ourselves are soothsayers, seers)arent real then neither is jesus, god mother mary or mose and let’s not forget the holy spirit. Just because some people are con men or evil doesnt mean everyone is not all blacks, whites, chinese, indians or male /female or bad so not all psychic are the same or even real or good. Psychics are real and there are a lot of us and we are growing in numbers everyday.

If you have only negative visions and they include 2 year old children being raped I seriously hope you are seeing a mental health professional. In all likelihood jesus was not a real man either. No one who wrote about him ever met him and the stories told about him conflict as if they were written based on fiction. IMO Jesus more likely represents a group of people during those times as more of an icon or mascot used for marketing christianity. That is just my opinion except for the parts about no one who wrote about jesus ever meet him except in a dream. Yea, that’s proof. So I guess psychics are as real as jesus at least. You don’t want me to start in on god and the holy spirit. Mary was the only one who actually could have existed and she was just a girl who got knocked up and made a lousy excuse for it. It anyone insists on the jesus thing that’s fine but don’t expect me to, it just doesn’t make any sense. Same thing goes for psychics.

Nevermind the non spiritual ones, do not let them down talk you. Remember God gave man free will and that is why we are in the evil world we are in. “Lottery numbers” NUFF SAID! Those are the ones who would never get such a gift as they would use it for thier own material needs. God has given you a beautiful gift, use it to do good.

    Okay,

I agree with most of this. But, there is one probalem I have with this. I don’t think anyone should be desperate enough to go to what is called a ‘street’ psychic, because yes .. more often than not those are fake. But, here is the thing. A lot of the people being mentioned here do have general heightened abilities. I am not saying that they aren’t fake, but to the rules in which you are opposing. MOST psychics do not conjure up their abilities nor can they often do it on command. it is that little spark of tuition. so no .. they cant do all the things you say because that is not how it works. They cannot nor do most of them do it on cue, so don’t expect them to, and don’t knock them down because they don’t. Psychics have and will continue to work with police on certain cases and the fbi have and will still continue to use them with some cases as well. Please, before making attempts to prove or disprove every single person within a demographic based on a few people .. do research.

IF they are NOT a licensed THERAPIST or SOCIAL WORKER then they have to state the “ENTERTAINMENT CLAUSE” so the state doesn’t step in and prosecute them for PRACTICING WITHOUT A LICENSE.

The problem is for centuries now, everyone has been trying to prove the paranormal exists, but no one has really been able to prove that fact. If they did, then we wouldn’t have some many teams out there fighting amongst themselves.
Many of these kinds of cases it’s all done with smoke and mirrors. There is no way to convince me it is true unless I was there in person and saw it with my own eyes.

I think the misconception here is that people like James Van Praagh are not even saying that they are “psychics.” Van Praagh claims to be a “medium,” who cannot see the future, but communicates with the dead. I think if you research some of the very personal details that Van Praagh has given in cold readings with someone, you might be surprised at how much he knows about a person who has passed on. I’m always a sceptic; however, it is important to not call someone a fraud when you are not even reporting their claims correctly.

What a ridiculous video! People who possess ‘true’ psychic abilities cannot control what they see. They can’t ‘tune’ into a specific moment and track down the next axe murderer; it’s impossible. Most visions include imagery, and if you’re lucky, landmarks to help you find a location. Unless you truly understand your gift, there is no way to decipher the messages you’re receiving.

What’s really laughable are people who believe that such abilities don’t exist. If they’re not capable of doing it, then it can’t be real. Balderdash! It’s close-minded thinkers that prevent any real advancement in spirituality in our society. ‘They’re all crackpots!” they claim.

Chip Coffey and his crew may be frauds, but there are legitimate physics out there that don’t use their gifts to make ‘money’. They live in fear of being ridiculed, so they keep it to themselves. Your video is a good example of the constant ridicule these people endure.

Maybe someday society will learn to set aside its backward outlook on the unknown and realize that some people are truly gifted.

I agree most famous psychics are fakes but there are real ones in the world and the real ones are the ones that aren’t famous because like myself we respect our “gifts” as people call it people like me would call it a curse 99% of the time and we dont use our “psychic” ability for personal gain also I don’t believe anyone can tell the future that’s just bs I know from personal experience just because you have a “gift” people assume you know things such as the winning lottery numbers or I’ve been asked who someone was gonna marry.. That’s all bs I don’t know that I’ve also never spoken to anyone dead I can only sense things it works in a very odd way if people were to meet an actual medium instead of these wanna bes trying to get rich off of people that do believe peope like me wouldn’t be called crazy or oh its in your head that stuffs not real.. If you were to ever meet an actual medium instead of these frauds on tv it would be different and you might even be amazed at what people like me can do and those frauds should be ashamed of themselves for trying to say they are a medium if they’re not because if they were an actual medium well they would be in for a rude awakening to see the burden that kind of gift can actually be and they wouldn’t be trying to make a quick buck from innocent people like that

Children are the easiest. Because of their youth and their truthfulness, they do not realize yet that may see or hear something and realize that they are not supposed to play with that ghost/imaginary friend. Children are free spirits and entities can speak to them freely. As we get older, we find out that socially it is not acceptable and we block it out.

Sorry, I did not make that up. It is something that I believe in and most people that work within the paranormal field would also agree that you don’t bring children in a place that could be haunted because if there is a displaced spirit there you have a good chance for it to attach itself to the child. Many children don’t realize they have a gift until later on in life because they may have been told that they were crazy or weird and so to be part of the group, they will block that part of there life from that.

Ok Anjel, you almost had me leaning your way until you said something about a spirit attaching itself to a child? I’ve never heard of this, ever. Nor do I believe its possible, lets use some common sense here. FIRST kids are out and going places everyday, school, museums, grocery’s ect. So whats to keep a wayward spirit from “attaching” (reminds me of ticks and leaches, lol) itself to any random child? or person for that matter, how do we protect them if this is the case? So these spirits are there a certain kind for kids and certain kind for adults? I have lots of questions now.

But if children dont know the “ghosts” are real or not, how do we? That is not an answer, that is simply ambiguity and avoidance. My question asks why children are not in such mortal dangers (becoming “attached”) when just living through everyday situations? Why would I believe (or want to) that every child who pretends while playing is really seeing a ghost or demon? Now to me this is all just wishful grown-up imaginations, fantasy and maybe a bit of fear thrown in, ya’know to think there is actually life after death sort of stuff. Now IF this was true by chance, how would be protect them and ourselves for that matter.

btw, thank you for the good conversation, i do appreciate that.

You protect them, just like you protect yourself. It takes faith and prayers. Whether it’s praying to whatever God you pray too or to your Angels or the Archangels. If you believe, they will help, all you have to do is ask for their help and they will. This is why most people that work within the Paranormal will pray before and after an investigation for protection of themselves and the others in their group.
I do believe in the paranormal and have had my own experiences and I do believe in angels and I have asked for their help and they have helped me. I believe. If you don’t, then I cannot force you to understand. Thank You also for the conversation.

What is funny with all the negative comments about psychics is that those people are just plain scared of what they can’t see or understand. Those people laying judgement on people with special abilities are judging innocent children having real and true experiences. No one here or out in the world has actually met God but I do believe He exists. So who has the right to say spirits and people that can see and talk to them don’t exist too. Grow up and realize no one has the right to judge anyone because YOU have no proof that those things aren’t possible.

There are angels among us that are able to see, hear, feel some things that might help in aiding others. Everyone can tap into their sixth sense or Third Eye Chakra. We all have had something happen in our lives, that we’ve listened to our “gut instinct”. That “gut instinct” is part of our sixth sense or Third Eye Chakra. Everyone can possess this skill, some better than others. Some of those people that have worked with their skill, can help in some way, but you have to be willing to be open and honest especially with yourself.

If someone is willingly stating that they are “psychic” I would be cautious about that person. Especially some “psychic’s” that are doing it for fame and fortune, which is something I loathe greatly.
Seriously speaking, there has not been one psychic that has been placed on the stand in a courtroom to give testimony for a criminal case in which convicting a person due to that testimony from a psychic.

There are some people that have been placed on this earth to help others, like a living angel. Those are the ones that will come to you to help you without asking for anything.
Now would I take anyone’s word for 100%? Nope, but I will listen to my “gut instinct” and do what is right for me.

A zealot is the person who prescribes to a religion and thinks everyone should too, lest they burn in hell, orat the very least, is “bad and wrong”. My original point was that there are people who are willing to imagine the existence of God, but discount the existence of other phenomena that has been neither proven or disproven.

Dammit, I hate religion. It raised me with the belief in an afterlife. Now here I am, older and slightly wiser, knowing better than to believe in such things, but I can’t shake wanting to believe there is an afterlife of SOME sort.

I looked to one medium that made me hope for a minute that there might actually be one (Concetta Bertoldi). Don’t know if she’s a fake, but after reading all these things on cold readings and fake mediums, I’m back to being forced to consider the very likely possibility that there is no afterlife.

I have not lost anyone SUPER CLOSE to me in life. But I really want to believe there’s an afterlife. But belief (and certainly faith) does not equal truth, and now I’m depressed.
