To be able to talk to people who have past is a great thing. I saw this show when it aired and I was move how she knew so much. Think about how the mother and boy felt knowing the husband was there watching over them. If you don’t like her than don’t watch her. On Anderson Cooper she talk to an audience member and explained how the people on the other side wanted them to let go of their guilt. She claimed this person opened up a suit case and told them to put all their guilt in it or something like that. She does tha same bit and tells the same story on some episode of the show. Idk what episode is was but it was the exact same suit case story.

This is disturbing and harmful at the same-time! Theresa Caputo is a parent and for her to exploit a child is reprehensible.
Nobody talks to the dead, and there are no real psychics. All psychics are frauds and have ever been frauds, from John Edward, to Jean Dixon, to Nostradamus and Rasputin.
Caputo is an insecure person who is probably has not liked herself for years and telling happy tales is her way of making her pleasant inside.

I have never heard of this person until right now. It is unbelievable to see that this child is being emotionally tortured for the profit margins of this “psychic”, TLC, everyone even remotely connected to the show. I have to ask, who is going to “b” slap the parent(s) or guardian of the child? They, too, must be dragged on to the carpet for this disgusting event. Responsibility must be assigned at every level. I read a statement recently that I recalled when I first watched the video clip: “I would not need to control my anger if people learned to control their stupidity”.

I was at a walmart when a total stranger came up to me & asked if I believed in readings; I told her no & turned away, she said “ok” & walked away quick. It kept hauting me that out of all the people in the isle she only came to me but talking it over with my sister (who was with me at the time) we came up with some good explanations. #1 we were both dressed in all black & #2 I look way younger than my sis, so she thought I was an easier target. A lie detector test would be a good start. It wouldn’t be hard to test her other psychic abilities.You just pick a random person off the street and sit them in a room with her and have her say specific facts about that person. Nothing like “you are a shy person” or “you enjoy hanging out with friends”. It has to be something that would generally only apply to that individual. Something like “you have a scar under your left calf in the shape of a cross” or “your father was a twin”. Done!

Even if she’s a fake then try to consider the after effects of your future actions towards the others who have spoken to her and who want to believe in the hope that there might be a chance their loved ones are in peace. It is wrong to destroy the hope of others to feed your satisfaction of pride. How is she able to guess the specific things that she’s able to guess on the show? This example of buddy is pretty vague compared to the other things she is able to guess on the show. How do you know she’s not tapping into a collective unconsciousness?
I had a dream about a month before my dog died that she died exactly in the same position and in the same way that she ended up dying. I had never seen a dog die before and didn’t know my dog was sick at the time (she died from a disease at a young age. I was traveling at the time of the dream and arrived home a few days before she died).
Sometimes you have to wonder how much we don’t know. Man can only see visible light but that doesn’t mean infrared light, x-rays, and many other parts of the light spectrum don’t exist. We see only what we can see and what our instruments measure. I’m not saying I believe it 100% but have yet to see anything that can explain how she can be so specific sometimes and be right.

Let me show you how to cold read or in my case use logic, in your subconscious you worried about traveling and being far from home. Your dream was a result of a guilty conscience leaving those you care about. Animals generally all die in the same position unless a predator is involved. Being nice to people doesn’t make her a real medium. Being a con artist is all about manipulating people into believing in one’s lies. Most of her questions would apply to a large majority of people. After talking with her client for a while, she becomes confident enough to ask more specific questions that are still relatively vague. She’ll leave them open to interpretation so that she isn’t necessarily wrong. Watch a video on cold reading and you may change your mind.
