The problem isn’t Facebook. The problem is people haphazardly posting their personal information online. Hackers and identity thieves can’t find information about you on Facebook unless you post it, or allow it to be posted. No need to stop using Facebook. Just watch what you post, and update your FB privacy settings. Videos like this make a good point, but they also unnecessarily scare people away from using social media, which has become a major part of our society.

How can anyone get my Facebook info without hacking me or having me give them my permission first? (which can be done with any site).User data is stored server side, and is impossible to get to without hacking the FB servers outright. You compromise this by giving apps “permission” to take your shit, but apart from that it’s a site as solid as any other.

It is an infomercial asking to be vigilant with what they put online, and be vigilant with their online banking ,because anyone can access theire financial information if they so with. Don’t think it’s just about facebook…you created a login to post here, right? You should visit the website mentioned at the end of the video to learn more about this campaign. It’s the little “bread crumbs” you leave behind on the internet that criminals can use to access your information. Whether or not you use it, banks can be accessed by the internet. This is a compelling campaign. Makes me think twice about signing in to any site.

I have hacked multiple facebook accounts in the past, when I was a fucking creeper and hacked peoples account to learn more about a girl I liked.. It really isn’t that hard once you learn how to break the automatic Encryptions on coded Websites, Facebook being one. I did alot in the past, maybe Facebook actually made some personal protection lately, but I doubt they did.

Nobody put their bank account number on facebook. You can simply get their bank account for example this way: You find out their e-mail adress, find paypall acount on that e-mail and hack it to see bank account number.

IT’S A COMMERCIAL. Also moost information about bank accounts is not from facebook. But if you have dept especialy unpayed its really easy too track that information. Most banks exchange your dept information all the time.And I work in media industry for some time. Most Social Websites sell their information about You. Facebook , YouTube. Thats why they are “Free” You pay with your Thought’s and Dreams.
