Registering

Once registered, you can access your Dashboard from the side panel on the web site. In addition, you can access your Profile to change your private information.

Commenting

You do NOT need to Register to comment on articles; however, you will NEED to register if you decide to comment utilizing our new Video Comment.

Can I comment Anonymously?

Yes, totally. Scifake’s comment system is designed so that you can register and post anonymously. We won’t even know who you are.

Here’s how to ensure that you register anonymously. When you create your username, choose one that’s unrelated to your real identity. Then, add an anonymous nickname in your user profile. We won’t be able to link your username/nickname with your offline self.

We do ask for an email address so that we can email a new password in case you forget it. To preserve your anonymity, use an anonymous Gmail, Yahoo Mail, or Hotmail account.

Changing Password

Changing your password is simple. Click on Profile (right side panel) and this is where you can change your password.

Writing Articles

You’ll need special permission to write articles. See Writing Articles. If you like to audition, please send us your credentials (experience, other articles etc) ron@scifake.com. We will extend your privligages and you’ll be required to write an article. The article will be held for moderation and reviewed.
