Patrick Doyle is awesome and we have on several occasions used his educated explanations.
It baffles me when people are easily duped into believing Poltergeist or ghost exist. Don’t become confused …there are some things that simply can’t be explained; however most paranormal activity can be explained with a combination of deductive reasoning and using the process of elimination.
Too many times do people jump to the assumption that a ghost turned the light on or opened the door. Next time, hire an electrician to check the faulty wiring. LOL

Great story.

This video insults my intelligence. I’m sure simple hoaxes like this are too numerous to count it just amazes me that there are people out there that naive to be duped by them and that someone actually produced a video to show people what can happen. Those of us with the least bit of experience in paranormal phenomena should already be aware of scenarios like the ones created in this video. It really all does come down to the credibility of the person(s) presenting the evidence-unles you’ve experienced it yourself.

I enjoy watching Patrick Doyle’s videos on YouTube. Logic, reasoning, and critical thinking needs to be employed in the world of paranormal investigation and for the scrutiny of alleged “ghost” evidence. This is obviously missing in all the popular paranormal shows and all the wannabe groups that emulate the para-celebs.
Speaking of logic and reason, did anyone catch the new “American Paranormal” show on the NG Channel? The investigation at the Eastern State Pen was AWESOME! What that team did was what I would call an authentic investigation with a scientific approach. Nothing like the pseudo-crap we see on GH and the others. It would be great if this show was a wakeup call to all these wannabe paranormal groups to show what “real” research and investigation is all about.

@the TRUTH:
How could that be even remotely construed as “self promotion” when he is commenting on the video content?…

Unlike Mr. Doyle, I am no longer even remotely surprised at the ridiculous things people willingly believe in the absence of any credible evidence. Believing in impossibilities and absurdities seems to be the dominant characteristic of our species. Politics and religion are both sustained by such credulity. And while it is nice to see people occasionally taking the time to point out the assumptions, preconceptions, and fallacious reasoning that contribute to humanity’s continuing love affair with its own delusions, I don’t think that doing so will ameliorate the situation. If people were deprived of their fondest illusions, most of them wouldn’t have any thoughts at all left in their heads.

Caustic:
” If people were deprived of their fondest illusions, most of them wouldn’t have any thoughts at all left in their heads.”
I am so stealing that sentence from you so don’t be surprised if you see it posted somewhere else.
You really should put that on a t-shirt.
